We are Canadian students looking for better politics in Canada. We created this blog to bring the political discussions of the campus pub to the chesterfields of Canada. We approach politics with a question: does it meet the standard? This is The Good Standard.

We are:
Elizabeth is studying how-to-criticize (aka Political Science) and how-to-criticize-men (aka Women’s Studies). She engages in loud discussions about politics which turn heads, often of people across the room. On the weekends she can be found reading, writing, and cooking. Originally from Vancouver she has yet to be impressed by winter in Ontario, and would trade in winter boots for flip-flops any day.

David was raised in the lovely tourist destination of Victoria, BC, but moved east to become a student in Political Science and Communication. He is a very serious but kindhearted young gentleman, who enjoys good coffee and hates his housemate’s cat.
